The Gilley 3.8" bait concept was designed to mimic the unique swimming action and broad profile of a bluegill. The Gills/Ribbing is from the head to the tail giving it a natural look with very supple gills which causes fish to hold on longer once they bite so you have more time to set the hook. This bait displaces a tremendous amount of water for its size and creates a lifelike swimming action. This bait can be rigged a ton of different ways including, Texas rigged vertical or horizontal, drop shot, on a jig head or as a trailer on a jig and many many more. Very unique lively action in water of a injured or dying baitfish.
